Applications

Bridger Bowl conducts hiring on a varied schedule, typically starting in early fall for winter employment.

Work opportunities in each department vary from season to season. Bridger Bowl is fortunate to have many returning employees and may not always have openings in all departments. A personal face-to-face interview is typically required of all employment candidates.

International Applications

Bridger Bowl does not sponsor international workers under H2B or J-1 Visas.

Operating Season

Scheduled dates of operation for the 2024/25 ski season are Dec 13, 2024 - Apr 13, 2025. If conditions permit, full or limited operations may begin before and/or continue after the scheduled dates.

Bridger Bowl’s winter operations are snow dependent. Montana usually enjoys excellent snow conditions, but low snowfall may result in delayed or limited operations. In such events, work may not be available until there is adequate snow coverage to operate.

Summer employment, typically from June through October, is limited to a small workforce in mountain operations and food service. Many mountain operation positions are held by long-term employees and openings are rare. Food service summer operation positions are typically filled by employees from the previous winter.

Employee Housing

There is no employee housing available at the mountain. Most employees live in the nearby towns of Bozeman (16 miles), Belgrade (26 miles) and Livingston (28 miles). Apartment rentals in Bozeman range, on average, from $900 to $1200+ per room. Lower priced units can be easier to find in Belgrade and Livingston.

Transportation

An employee shuttle bus will be available seven days a week throughout the ski season. The bus will pick up and drop off at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds daily.

Equal Opportunity Employer

Bridger Bowl Ski Area is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy, age, national origin, physical or mental disability, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other protected classification outlined by federal, state, or local laws.
